쟝 쟈끄 아노 감독의 필모그라피 중에 [wolf totem]이라는 영화가 눈에 들어왔고 내가 놓친 영화인걸 알았다. 배경이 '문화혁명'이라고 하니 보고싶어 넷플릭스부터 백방으로 찾았지만 구할 수 없었다. 그러다 어제 고마운 분에게 은혜를 입어 영화를 볼 수 있었다.
과거 세이시절에 글을 올린거 같은데...
알프레드 비니의 시 [mort du loup]가 떠오르는 장면이 있었다.
중략- 부분인용하자면
늑대는 못에 박힌 듯 꼼짝하지 못하고 있었다.
우리들의 총이 음산한 초생달처럼 그를 둘러싸고 있었다.
늑대는 우리를 다시 한 번 쳐다보더니, 바닥에 다시 엎드린다.
입가에 번진 피를 핥으면서
그리고 자신이 어쩌다가 죽게 되었는지 알려고 하지 않은 채

89년에 개봉한 영화 [프란체스코]라는 영화가 있었다. 본 지 오래되어 아무것도 기억나지 않는다.
그러다. 어제 교황님께서 선종하셨다는 뉴스를 들었다.
교황이 프란체스코란 이름을 택한것이 바로 가난한 이들에게 더 다가가려한 성직자였다는 평가가 헤드라인으로 실리는걸 이제서야 기억해냈다.
내가 평소에 종교에 관심이 없어 늘 잊고 있던 교황이란 존재
교황이 한국에 온것은 두번 기억한다.
84년과 14년
84년 첫행보는 5.18묘역 참배라고했던가
14년에는 세월호로 상처받은 이들의 영혼을 다독이려 방한했던것으로 기억한다.
교황이 왜 왔는지도 모르고 쳐웃던 저능아가 아직도 기억난다
그리고 24년 12월....교황이 한국을 다시 찾아올뻔했다.
한국에서 비극이 일어나지 않아 한국을 방문하지 않아도 되고 눈을 감은 교황에게 신께서 내린 축복은 아니었을까?댓글 0
